A response to the view visible from this window, these panels of glass reflect the rhythm and hugeness of the landscape. The motto is a translation of the Royal College of General Practitioners motto, “cum scientia caritas” or “scientific knowledge applied with compassion”. Look also for the Chequered Skipper Butterfly and the plant Diapensia lapponica.

Old Inverlochy Castle is woven into elements of local landscape which includes the Clan Cameron tartan and motto “unite”. The Kennedy cairns are resting cairns of William Kennedy, a doctor, and his two brothers.
Using ‘ribbons’ of stained glass within the waiting room windows was an excellent answer to the brief where the glass must enhance and not impact on the stunning views from the windows. In addition to the commissioned work, Emma participated in the outreach programme working with higher pupils from Lochaber High School and successfully introducing them to the techniques of leaded glass.
